Legendary sound Channel One will be a special guest on the VP Records Live Sessions broadcast on Tuesday, November 19th from 5 to 6pm EST.
Channel One will be on tour in the U.S. and Canada from November 15 to 23rd. Celebrating 45 years in sound system culture promoting positive roots, rock reggae and dub globally. Channel One is a mainstay in the UK, making several appearances at key events including Notting Hill Carnival. Their collaborative LP with Greensleeves, Down In The Dub Vaults, was released in 2023 to critical acclaim.
Known for playing deep cuts of Dennis Brown, Gregory Isaacs and Johnny Osbourne, Channel One’s reputation across the UK and Europe is spreading to North America. They are a mainstay in the sound system space playing on a handmade custom-built sound.
