Celebrating the 40th anniversary of one of the most influential releases on Greensleeves’ U.K. Bubblers imprint from Saxon Sound, Coughing Up Fire. Recorded live Friday 9th November at the Factory in West London, captured Saxon at the peak of their powers with MCs Tippa Irie, Daddy Sandy, Daddy Rusty, Papa Levi and Daddy Colonel spitting pure fire alongside Trevor Ranking at the controls with Musclehead and Dennis Rowe holding down the vibes. Sampled heavily over the years on countless Jungle and Dubstep tracks, Coughing Up Fire and Saxon have inspired an entire generation of Black British music makers.
