Reggae and Dancehall superstar Gyptian has today released his self-reflective EP entitled ‘Guarded.’  Collaborating with producer Chambah, the 7-track project hears the stars vulnerability as he navigates stardom, demands from friends and family and his own needs.

The Guarded EP follows Gyptian and Chambah’s debut collaborative project, ‘The Difference’ which was released in 2020.  From that effort, the duo earned success with the song “Come Over” featuring Tommy Lee Sparta.  Reuniting in 2024, Chambah says “this project is meant to build on that success, placing the authentic reggae singer over forward-thinking production, with something for all of Gyptian’s fans.”

In 2010, Gyptian achieved global impact with his hit single “Hold You” as well as roots single “Serious Times” and contemporary Reggae ballad “Beautiful Lady.”  All three songs demonstrated the artists versatility.  Two decades into his career, Gyptian continues to innovate by blending classic roots reggae with dancehall and international sounds as evidenced on his newest project, ‘Guarded.’

‘Guarded’ is distributed by VPAL Music and available on all streaming platforms.
