Jamaican dancehall artist Pablo YG connects with Supacell actor and London rapper UglyAndz on his new single “Tek A Shot,” out November 28 via VP Records.
Produced by Tevin “YGF” Richards and Danville “Phantom Beatz” McNeal, “Tek A Shot” leans toward the slower, more melodic side of modern dancehall, shaped by R&B influences.

The collaboration was recorded in London earlier this year around Pablo YG’s first U.K. show.

At 21, Pablo YG has become one of dancehall’s most prominent young artists. The Ocho Rios native gained attention after his 2022 Sting performance and breakout single“Rich N Richer.”

Since then, he has received co-signs from Kai Cenat and Buju Banton, collaborated with Skillibeng, Valiant, and Kranium, and performed on major stages including Reggae Sumfest. He also appeared in the Supreme x Clarks campaign and earned two IRAWMA Awards in 2024 for Best Teen Entertainer and Most Promising Entertainer. His appearance in the 4 Shooters Only From the Block series remains the most-viewed Jamaican installment to date.

UglyAndz is a North West London artist, actor, and content creator. He is known for his role as Twosie in the Netflix series Supacell, which reached number one globally on the platform, as well as for songs including “Yo Bunny,”which has surpassed 100 million Spotify streams.
