While the 5-piece reggae outfit is revving up for their studio release Here Come The Kings (June 11, VP Records) and European summer tour, Morgan Heritage unveil the visual for the album’s first single “Perfect Love Song.” The video was shot in Miami’s Little Haiti neighborhood and directed by Miami’s own Spencer Antle, who is also the founder of Island Company.

EBONY.com raves that “with so much of the turmoil and negativity in the world trickling down to music, this really is the perfect love song. If you can’t get to a Caribbean beach anytime soon, then throw on this tune, close your eyes and make believe as you sway to the rhythm.”
“Perfect Love Song” is making waves on Caribbean charts in Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados, Cayman Islands, St. Lucia, St. Croix, St. Maarten and Tortola. The chart-topping anthem is also picking up steam on U.S. radio with spins on stations like New York City’s HOT 97, San Francisco’s 106 KMEL and Miami’s HOT 105.
In support of the new album, Morgan Heritage will kick off their one-month European tour on June 26th in The Netherlands. Now being dubbed as the “Rolling Stones of Reggae” (in large part due to the act’s electric stage shows), Morgan Heritage has established themselves as the premier live group on the reggae circuit. Nearly two decades and ten albums later, the mission has come full circle for Morgan Heritage. After respective solo careers and music ventures of their own, Peetah Morgan (vocals), Una Morgan (keyboard/vocals), Roy “Gramps” Morgan (keyboard/vocals), Nakhamyah “Lukes” Morgan (rhythm guitar) and Memmalatel “Mr. Mojo” Morgan (percussion/vocals) return this summer with the collective’s first studio album in five years, Here Come The Kings. The new album, which explores new sounds that successfully fuse roots, r&b, and a hint of dancehall, is co-produced by Morgan Heritage alongside ingenious producers like Donovan “Don Corleon” Bennett, Linton “TJ” White, Lamar “Riff Raff” Brown (Notice Productions), Shane C. Brown (Juke Boxx Productions) and multiple Grammy nominee, Jason “J-Vibe” Farmer.
