Lady Vee came to the UK from Jamaica in 1966 to find her late parents with a 50-watt sound system (V.Rocket International) keeping blues parties. At the age of 7, and over time, the sound grew and began playing at local venues and venues in the Midlands.
At the start of college Lady Vee got involved with bookings and organising dubplates from Jamaica. Her early break came when she did an event at the Ad-Lib club in Nottingham with David Rodigan.  One early and memorable events was at the Palis again in Nottingham at Maxi Priest’s very first stage show. Continuing the momentum, Lady Vee started UK Cup Clash – hugely successful in the Sound Clash industry.
Lady Vee is currently working with Chin of Irish and Chin on World Clash – The End and the Crowning of The Legends taking place on Bank Holiday Sunday May 1st 2022 at the O2 Academy Birmingham.
