World-renowned band Morgan Heritage, originated in Jamaica and became one of Reggae’s most known and beloved bands. Formed in 1994, the band comprises siblings Una Morgan (keyboard/vocals), Roy “Gramps” Morgan (keyboard/vocals), Peter “Peetah” Morgan (vocals), and Memmalatel “Mr. Mojo” Morgan (percussion/vocals). The Morgan family boasts an impressive reggae lineage, as their father, Denroy Morgan, was a successful reggae artist in his own right.
Morgan Heritage’s music is characterized by its roots reggae sound infused with elements of dancehall, R&B, and pop. The band’s lyrics often focus on love, unity, and social consciousness, reflecting the positive and uplifting messages inherent in reggae music.
