Reggae recording artist Alborosie has announced a second run of the U.S. Destiny Tour, which unfolds throughout April. Supporting the “Kingston Town” singer as special guests in select cities are the three-piece Jamaican band F.Y.A.H. and Santa Barbara-based artist JWadi – two of Reggae’s fast-rising acts. Kicking off in Los Angeles, CA on April 3, the fourteen-show tour will feature stops in California, Arizona, Texas, Florida, and Louisiana, before wrapping in Houston, TX on April 21.
The upcoming run of the Destiny Tour is in support of Alborosie’s ninth studio album, Destiny, which was released in May 2023. The album stays true to the artist’s signature sound, a blend of authentic Roots Rock Reggae and Dub with supreme songwriting skills and lyrical prowess. It also boasts an impressive list of collaborators such as Kabaka Pyramid, Buju Banton, Jaz Elise, Burro Banton, and more.
This leg follows several highly successful runs of the tour across North America, Europe, Africa and South America last year.
In anticipation of his upcoming live shows, Alborosie on March 28 released two new mixes of the song “Faith” featuring Jamaican singer Jaz Elise. The single includes an extended version and an extended dub version. Listen HERE.
F.Y.A.H. will also be releasing new music in celebration of the tour. Their upcoming old-school, feel-good song “Cool Down” drops on April 4 – pre-save HERE. It follows a string of singles the band has dropped in the lead-up to their debut album, Free Your Authentic Heart, including “I Believe” featuring Alborosie, “Freedom Fighter” featuring legendary roots outfit Steel Pulse, and, most recently, “Stronger,” which was released in February.
