VP: How did you get your start in the business?
CF: My start in the business came in college while studying Marketing Management. I got a part time job at Hard Rock Florida, I got to learn about touring, production and management. I learned how acts created relationships with their audiences like The Who, John Legend and more.
VP: What was your first notable project?
CF: Definitely working with Jon Fx. As a producer he is very good and as a musician he is exceptional. Jon has given me several opportunities over the years which helped me develop my skillset and broaden my client base.
My first notable project was A&R’ing for Sizzla’s album “I’m Yours.” The album sold well and was well received in the marketplace. It topped the Billboard charts for 15 weeks.
VP: What was your first breakthrough
CF: My breakthrough is tied to the question before about the notable project. My breakthrough really came from working with Jon Fx who is such a talented producer.
VP: What are you working on now / next?
CF: A new project with Nyanda of Brick n Lace that I think fans will enjoy. I’m currently working with Plum Label which is a Miami-based label founded by Ryan Dillon and partners. We are working with artists such as Charly Black, Konshens, Chris Marshall of Rich Music and more.
VP: What songs are you listening to on Spotify / Apple Music / Pandora / Audiomack?
CF: Well I have a lot going on, on my playlist! I’m currently streaming “Gyal Time Again” by Charly Black and Konshens as well as a lot of Burna Boy and Sizzla!
