The visual for the rhythmic, dancehall infused track ‘High Heels’ by VP Records artist Fay Ann Lyons is out today. ‘High Heels’ is the third video release from her Billboard chart topping album “Break the World”. The album debuted at number 3, a first for an individual artist album in Soca.
Following the success of video’s “Girls” and “Block the Road” featuring Ghanaian mega star Stonebwoy, ‘High Heels’ shows a sexier and more provocative side of Fay Ann Lyons, portraying the confidence a woman feels when she wears high heels. Filmed in Jamaica, the video features the songstress in a gentleman’s club with a group of women in high heels dancing for male suitors.
“It’s just a feel-good song that women can identify with, a good pair of heels not only makes your body look long and leaner it boosts your confidence when worn with the right outfit,” Fay Ann explains. “High heels make the bumper push up can also be a metaphor about making the women’s ego and confidence push up.”
Fay Ann Lyons was recently nominated for the 12th annual Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA) in the Afro Soca Artist category. She is currently gearing up for the launch of her mas section, Atlanta for the upcoming Carnival 2018 season. The costume will be added to Fantasy Carnival’s presentation- Isle of Olympia. She is also working on new music.
The video exclusively premiered today on Karibbean Kollective.
