To celebrate the launch of Channel One Soundsystem’s recent collaboration album with Greensleeves Records collaboration Down In The Dub Vaults, they held a dance at Village Underground in East London to a sell-out crowd. The Greensleeves Hi-Fi team (Oxman and Adam Prescott) built up the vibes with a heavy set of roots and culture from the Greensleeves catalogue to tee up Mikey Dread, selector, owner and operator of Channel One. As a true master of his craft, Mikey set the pace with a crucial selection of foundation tracks followed by a special dedication to his friend and revered soundman Alan Rolle aka Jah Youth who sadly passed away on Friday 6th October. A rapturous crowd then were treated to the Greensleeves Down In The Dub Vaults album showcase featuring tunes from the likes of the Wailing Souls and Triston Palmer.
